Welcome to the Mud Grand Prix Website.

I will use the website to post all results and upcoming race schedule.  Please check out the Results section, I posted results back to1978.  Thanks to the many race directors that kept such great records.  All the results are there except two races in 1980.  The website has the ability to blog.  The perfect use of the Blog might be to post your time if you miss the race and run it before or after.  Other uses might be to post info about the course before the race.  Or post news about one the regular runners of the MGP.  Please keep it to topics related to the MGP, nothing commerical please.

Creating Account and Blogging.

Creating an account to be able to Blog is very easy.  You should see the option on the left side menu under the "Login".

All that is required is picking your own username and password along with an email address.  The email address is in case you forget your password so it can email it to you.

Once you create an account you can easily "Blog".

Blogging:   It is very easy to post a blog on the website.  The menu is under "create content."  Just hit it and create your blog.  What may you want to post?  Maybe your time if you missed the actual race.  A great way for your friends to see your time.  Just enter in here.  I will see it and add it to the official results.  The blog requires you to "preview" your post and then to "save" it.  Two menu clicks.

There are a few menus at the bottom of where you enter your text.  One you might be interested in.  "Attach Image", allows you to attach a picture.  Please keep the pictures small, a good guildeline is under 125k.

A blog won't appear on the front page of the website.  Your title of your blog will appear in the "Recent Blog Posts".  Anyone can then click on it and it will appear.

You can comment on anyone's blog.  I am actually writting a comment right now.  It is a comment to my first blog "Welcome to the Mud Grand Prix Website".  It will then appear under "Recent Comments".

Wow

I can't believe I have the 4th fastest time. But I thought Leo beat me in the 1979 race, maybe he didn't register, but man he was good!
