Results Race#181: Tue June 21, 2022 @ 6:15pm

We had a great turnout for the Summer Solstice run with 5 new runners and one of our fastest fields in quite some time.  It was a warm night.   Thanks to Fiona and Del for bringing cookies.

Invite your friends & family for the Fall race we will have the rare oppurtonity to start on the exact time of the Autumn Equinox at 6:03pm.

Results Race #180 Sunday March 20th.

We had a dry cool perfect morning for a run.   We had a small group turn out today to run.  No one likes the Holman Lane Detour but we had to run it one more time.  Looks like they are almost done and we should be back on the normal course.

Invite your friends to the Summer Solstice run.

Results: Race#179 Winter Solstice 12/19/21

We had a few hardy runners turn out for today's race.   Very cold 35 ish, with light rain starting half way thru the race.    After the downpour the previous night I thought the trail would have been worse but still plenty slipperly going down Dogwood.   A few downed trees but easy to get over.

We again had to take the Holman Lane Detour.

Results #178 Autumnal Equinox 9/22/21 6pm (Holman Lane Detour). Updated

We had a wonderful evening last night for the Fall MGP.   There was still a crowd to watch the Swifts but much smaller than usual.

We ran the Holman Lane Detour with a short out back section on Wildwood Trail.   It is fun to have the outback section to cheer on fellow runners but the hills to Holman Lane are no fun.

We had a small group start at 6pm but quite a few people started early.  Course had completely dried out from the hard rain the previous weekend.

Many thanks to Nick Lyman for making some awesome brownies.

Race#177 Summer Solstice Run. Sunday June 20th at 9am

We had a very warm day but a great turnout.   It was fun to chat with everyone after the race.

We need more runners so invite a friend to the Autumn Equinox race.   Since we have so few runners now put the race on your calendar and hopefully you can run in person.

Updated results.    Added Ellie and Dean

Results #176 Vernal Equinox Saturday March 20th 9am Updated 3/23

We had a very cool 1st day of spring but the rain mostly held off.   Light attendance for the race.   Please send in your times if you missed actual race.

Race#175 Winter Solstice Dec 20th Sunday at 8am Results

Hi All

We had a great run this morning, the rain was not that bad just a light drizzle most of the race.   The course was also in good shape considering how much rain we had, but Dogwood was slippery.

We had a great turnout for inperson race.  14 runners at the start with a 4 new runners.

Please send in your time if you haven't already or if you have corrections.    In the rain it was hard to read my writing.

Next race I hope to run more like normal with a timer.

Race#174 Autumnal Equinox (Results)

Please send in your times.   Here is what I have so far.

Joe Kregal

Del sent me this link on some info about Joe Kregal.   He passed away about a week ago.

Joe was a long time runner of the MGP.  I looked back thru the results and first time running the MGP for Joe was in the Winter Solstice run in 1995.   Says he took the "Longer Course" so I assume like a lot of first time runners he missed a turn.

Race#173 Summer Solstice June 20th Results Updated

Here are the times I have received so far.   I ran this morning at 9am and started with Del.   It was a perfect morning for a run with a little light rain to keep you from getting too hot.
